Electronics/Telecoms

Zinkteknik works mainly on the system side, primarily with shielding and also purely mechanical components. In this segment, requirements include immense flexibility, high delivery readiness and quality requirements. There is often demand for surface treatment using tin, nickel, silver and gold. We also offer dispensed EMC gaskets for zinc surfaces. Zinkteknik works with several of the market's leading suppliers within electronics and telecommunications.
Zinkteknik fulfils the requirements in the RoHS and REACH directives.

Automotive

In this segment we work principally in the safety field, providing components for seat belt and airbag systems, as well as in seat design where there is a high level of requirements on quality and security of supply. At Zinkteknik we meet these requirements as well as those pertaining to environmental management systems. Surface treatment is not as common as in the previous segment, and it usually involves surface treatments to provide corrosion prevention. We only use finishes that are Chrome 6-free and which meet the requirements and directives that are in place within the vehicle industry.

Other (construction & machinery, etc.)

This area includes numerous customers with very different requirements. However, they all value the experience we bring from the other two segments. Many of the customers in our third segment have learned to use zinc through us, via our zinc school, Think Zinc or our assistance during product production. This product area involves many different types of surface treatment, e.g. powder-coating, nickel, chrome. Zinkteknik works with several leading brands associated with white goods, lighting, the home and the environment.
